Skin — inflammatory & chronic
Long-running inflammatory skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, vitiligo, lichen planus, rosacea, urticaria and hidradenitis suppurativa.
Acne
An inflammatory skin disease that blocks the oil glands and causes blackheads, whiteheads, pus-filled spots and cysts.
Acne scars and marks
Marks and scars left behind by inflamed acne, from flat surface pigmentation to deeper pitted scarring.
Psoriasis
A long-term inflammatory skin disease that produces red, thickened patches covered with silvery-white scales.
Vitiligo
A condition in which the cells that make skin pigment stop working, leaving milky-white patches on the skin.
Lichen planus
An itchy rash of violet or skin-coloured bumps with fine white streaks, which can appear almost anywhere on the body.
Lichen planus pigmentosus
Slate-grey patches of pigmentation, mostly on sun-exposed skin of the face and neck, common in darker skin.
Rosacea
A common facial rash of middle age causing lasting redness, visible blood vessels, small red bumps and pustules.
Urticaria
Raised, red, itchy welts that appear suddenly on the skin, lasting either under six weeks or much longer.
Hidradenitis suppurativa
A long-term, painful condition causing boil-like lumps, pus discharge and scarring in the armpits, groin and under the breasts.
Pityriasis rosea
A harmless rash that starts with one large oval patch, then spreads as smaller pink patches and settles on its own.
Keratolysis exfoliativa
Recurrent peeling of the skin of the palms, and sometimes the soles, common in children and young adults.

Fungal, viral and parasitic infections of the skin, including tinea, pityriasis versicolor, shingles, cold sores, warts, scabies and molluscum contagiosum.
Superficial fungal infections
Very common, very itchy ring-shaped fungal patches, named for wherever on the body they occur.
Pityriasis versicolor
A yeast infection of oily skin that causes light and dark patches with fine scales, mostly on the chest, neck and back.
Herpes zoster
A painful rash of grouped blisters on one side of the body, caused by the chickenpox virus reactivating.
Herpes labialis
Water-filled blisters on and around the lips, caused by a common and highly contagious herpes simplex virus.
Warts
Skin growths caused by the human papillomavirus, which look different depending on their type and where they are.
Scabies
An intensely itchy rash, worst at night, caused by a human mite that burrows into the top layers of the skin.
Molluscum contagiosum
A common viral skin infection producing small, firm, dome-shaped bumps, treatable in the clinic with cryotherapy.

Hair loss and scalp complaints, including male- and female-pattern hair loss and dandruff.

Laser hair removal
